Refund policy

Store Return Policy: 

All items are sold "as is" condition with no warranties and are considered FINAL SALE and not eligible for a return, refund or exchange. 

Disclaimer: All of our items are considered "open box"  returned merchandise that have been purchased and delivered to other customers, and then returned to our store. Products are sold considerably under retail cost, as products may exhibit minor cosmetic imperfections as a result of it having been previously opened.

Additional, we do our best to assess each item before shipping and disclaim any major damages in the description of the item.

Store Policy: Delivery Damaged Item Claims

At The Furniture Shop we take great care to ensure the quality and condition of all items before shipment. However, we understand that damages can occasionally occur during delivery.

To ensure your satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly, please review the following policy regarding damaged items during delivery:

  • Claim Period: Customers have 7 days from the date of delivery to contact us regarding any damages to your product
  • Notification Process: If you receive a damaged item during delivery, please notify our customer service team within 7 days via toronto@thefurnitureshop.ca with your order number and photographs of the damage.
  • Resolution: Once we receive your claim, we will review the information provided and offer a resolution.
  • Restocking Fee: Please note, exchanges or order cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

After 7 days from the delivery date, we will be unable to process any claims related to damages.

 

Store Pick-Up Policy

Storage Duration
All pick-up orders will be held for up to 6 weeks from the date of purchase.
After 6 weeks, a $40 per week storage fee will be applied to the order until it is collected.

Packaging & Wrapping
All items designated for pick-up are open-carton and will not be wrapped.
Customers are responsible for bringing their own protective materials, such as blankets, straps, or padding, for safe transport. Our team is unable to provide wrapping or packaging supplies.

Inspection at Pick-Up
Each item will be inspected together with the customer at the time of pick-up to confirm its condition and complete a quality check.

Final Sale Policy
Once the pick-up is completed and the item is released to the customer, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be provided.
